2009 Programs
The Cruiser and Rebel Crews
We will have two boats going out on Monday and Wednesday nights at 6pm. This program will be focusing on recreational paddling however we will be doing some longer distance paddling to enhance our fitness and cardio-vascular performance.
The Machine crews
Will train on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm and the focus will be to train as a group and compete at several events over the course of the season. For those who are interested and committed to being part of a competitive team you are encouraged to come and train with this group.
Membership fees
We want to encourage people to come on out and try dragon boating and this year we are offering one free week of paddling to any non-member before they decide to join. Both crews are receptive to new paddlers joining their programs however it is understood that those wishing to paddle with the Machine are also making a commitment to be part of a racing crew at Festivals.
Club fees for the 2009 season will be $160 for adults and $50 for students (festivals extra)
