The members of the Belleville Paddling Club like to be involved in the paddling community and that is why we both host various events and we take part in those hosted by our fellow paddlers.
We are especially proud to announce that we have teamed up with the United Way to present the The 8th Annual Belleville United Way Dragon Boat Festival. For more information on how you can either participate or spectate at this years event, please visit our Belleville Dragon Boat Ferstival Page.

Our First Water Practice of 2008!
** Tuesday May 6th at 6:00 PM.
This year both the Competitive and Recreational crews will be paddling on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM.
The "rain date" for our first practice is Thursday May 8th at 6:00PM.
Everyone is encouraged to complete their registration/waiver of liability form before registering to save some time. If you are unsure what to wear, check out our Cold Water Tips for more information.
- Registration starts at 5:15pm
- Practice starts at 6:00pm
Depending on numbers and timing practices could be a little shorter than one full hour. Please come with your patient hat on too as all new and returning members will be arriving simultaneously.
** Note: If you own a paddle, or if you have borrowed a club paddle, please bring it with you - we may have a shortage :-(

Belleville Dragon Boat Festival
Saturday September 13th 2008
For 9 years the Belleville Dragon Boat Club has hosted this event and this year we are pulling out all the stops! And, for the second time we have teamed up with the United Way who are ready to keep the Belleville Dragon Boat Festival on to a new Level.
Of course, in addition to rolling out the red carpet for all of our visiting Dragon Boating teams, both the Belleville Recreational team and the Competitive teams plan to compete. Be sure to watch our website for updates.

GWN Dragon Boat Challenge
Ontario Place, Toronto, ON - September 8-9
The Belleville Dragon Boat Club's Competitive team will be participating in this, one of Canada's largest and most prestigious events. Please come out and cheer them on.
