Lots of members have been asking where they can purchase dragon boating products and thanks to Elly, here is a good start at our list:

Apex Paddles These are the black plastic (composite) ones that our club uses. There are a few options depending on your budget and your needs. You can buy paddles directly from the manufacturer on their website.

Grey Owl Paddles Another well respected paddle supplier. Check the "dealer locator" on their website.

Salus Many of our members who have purchased their own PFD have chosen Salus. The link takes you to their dealer locator where you can select a dealer that you like. They don't appear to sell directly to consumers.

Scala OC1
Elly's comments "My Scala came from www.kayaksport.net It is a 'sit in' style. The others I mention are a 'sit on' style. Before you buy you really should try them both out. Also think about the total weight of the boat and how far you're going to carry it once you've assembled it or maybe you're able to store it assembled. Generally the lighter they are the more expensive and fragile they are.

Huki OC1 Other brands of OC are Huki (sold through www.huki.com or www.outrigger.ca). Another style by the same manufacturer is the Hodi.
