  LARRY BIRD
Co-Coach of the Competitive Program (MACHINE)
Larry is a former Canadian National Dragon Boat Team member with over twenty years of competitive flat-water paddling experience. Larry's enthusiasm for coaching and the love of the sport shows in his winning coaching style.                        
  GREG TAYLOR
Co-Coach of the Competitive Program (MACHINE)
Greg has been active in the sport for 16 years, starting as a lifeguard for the first dragon boat crews in Canada. He paddled competitively in Toronto with Riptide for eight years before moving to Belleville three years ago. Greg competed at the World Club Crew Championships in Toronto in 2006 with the Philippines National Team.

   RICK WHITE
Co-Coach of the Recreational program (REBELS & CRUISERS)
Rick got involved in Dragon Boating in 2002 as a paddler, coach and the first Commodore of the BDBC. Rick began paddling competively with the Cartierville Boating Club in the 50's and later the West Rouge Canoe club. He is presently also a member of the Viking Canoe club in Quebec as a masters flat water canoe and kayak competitor.

   AYANA HUTCHINSON
Co Coach of the Recreational program (REBELS & CRUISERS)
Ayana is an original BDBC member. She is a paddler, coach and past executive member. She has brought unmatched enthusiasm to her coaching with her energetic style.

STEERERS-
AL CAMMELFORD
Al has become an excellent man in the back of the boat since 2007. His easy going style make him popular with the crew, not to mention his humour and musical ability at get togethers.

SHORE TABLE-
TED DRUMM
Ted is our shore patrol guy. He handles waivers, crew registering, collecting money for clothing, fees, festivals etc. As well as providing info when needed. He is always there and does a valuable job.
